Bar Manager
Summary of Position:
Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing and the execution of service in the bar and lounge. Develop and implement training and cleanliness programs for the bar. Work with General Manager to achieve sales, labor, and cost of goods goals related to liquor, beer, and wine. Control all aspects of ordering liquor, beer and wine including bi-weekly orders, maintain and update order guides, menus and the POS as well as communicating with Brokers and Distributors regarding outages, and replacements and returns.
Qualifications
21 Years of age or older.
Communicate respectfully and honestly with others, including all staff.
Knowledge of service, food, and beverage with at least 5 years of experience in front of house operations (or 2 year of bartending experience).
Solid command of all products behind the bar and how they are utilized
Recognize the effects of alcohol on guests and respond accordingly
Valid THD Food handler’s License
Valid ABLE Commission LBW license
POS experience and be able to do basic math calculations.
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, up to 6 hours
