Line Cook

Summary of Position:

Prepare food in an efficient and effective manner that follows all JTR standards and practices, as well as comply with all local, state, and national food safety guidelines. Prep and cook foods for both lunch and dinner service, while executing dishes. Ensure cleanliness of both work area, and kitchen including, but not limited to, dry goods, walk in, reach ins, freezer, and all storage areas.

 

Qualifications

  • Be able to communicate respectfully and honestly with others, including all staff.

  • Have a valid Tulsa Food Handler’s Permit

  • Have the ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, up to 8 hours

  • Have the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

  • Have a basic knowledge of food and working in a kitchen

  • Have the ability to read a recipe and follow instructions precisely

  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds above your head
